Money might not make you happy, but not having money isn’t the secret to being happy either. Having money, on the other hand, can make you feel less stress.
Increase your income and you can start reaping benefits like paying down debts, saving for retirement and having extra money to travel with. You can generally start making money online and offline if you have resources like time, a skill and motivation. Additionally, if you use marketing tools like social media networks and press releases, you can start spreading the word about your idea to generate customer sales.
Business Consultant
You need solid business contacts to earn money as a business consultant. Make a list of specific skills and knowledge that you possess. Examples include having a psychology degree and experience as a corporate trainer. You could use this duo skill set to advise executives on steps they could take to attract, train and retain top talent. Should you have experience working as an actuary, you could advise business HRIS and financial specialists on advanced reporting. Land two to three major clients and you could earn enough money to build a savings while you work as a part-time business consultant.
Yard Sales
If you have items like furniture, clothes, toys and jewelry around your house that you and your family haven’t used in awhile, you can organize a weekend yard sale to start making money fast. To earn a profit off items you sell, be willing to negotiate prices with buyers.

Radio Interviews
Online radio platforms and podcasts make it possible for you to start your own radio show. To start making money online off your radio show, you can charge guests you interview a fee to appear on your show and talk about and promote their products. You can also start making money online by selling on-air voice ads to people like entrepreneurs, book authors and seminar instructors. Rates you sell your ads for can be based on the number of listeners your show gets.
For example, if 100,000 people listen to your show every day, you may be able to charge higher ad rates versus if your show only gets 10,000 daily listeners. If you schedule popular guests like celebrities and successful business leaders on your show, you may attract more listeners.
The amount of money you can make conducting radio interviews depends on the number of guests you book each day, week or month. Some radio show hosts earn about $50 a show, while others earn six-figures a year.
