Magic is not a part of sales success

Positive thought creates positive experiences IF you take inspired action. Magic has nothing to do with sales success. Until you take action, actually get up and call someone, write and send an email, attend a sales event or pitch a client, you’re not going to get sales. People have to know that your products exist to buy them. Fairly simple, but far too many people have a passion for success but not the drive to get up and go get success.

Don’t let this be you. Bring yourself out of the mode of magical thinking by writing down one to three actions you’ll take every day to get more sales success. If you’re looking for ideas, consider writing and submitting a press release, sharpening your product descriptions, registering to attend a community festival or offering live entertainment at your restaurant.

To achieve more sales success, you could also schedule radio interviews, speak at colleges, universities and small businesses, attend industry sales events, develop t-shirts that highlight your business name. Make sure you add your company website on the t-shirts. If order business cards, pass them out! The same applies with flyers and brochures. They won’t yield you sales success if you don’t take them out of the box and pass them out to your target audience.


Doing nothing, refusing to take action, will yield you an equal payout – nothing. Get your courage up and start taking action each and every day. Build your own sales success. Connect with your target audience, keeping conversations with these people going. Listen to your target audience, finding out what they want, then get about the business of giving it to them. Keep your name at the forefront in people’s minds and watch your sales success grow.
